Recognition of the work around the state is an important element of the Partners in the Outdoors program.

We aim to highlight the vast amount of work for the people of Colorado to better understand the spaces and places we all love.

Although these awards only highlight a small number of organizations, agencies and community leaders who do amazing work, it is a way to allow Field Staff to come forward with nominations and recognize their partners.

How Partners are nominated & selected

  • Partners are nominated by CPW Field Staff for the previous year's work.
  • Nominations are sent to each Region (NE,NW,SE,SW) Offices for review and selection
  • The awards are to recognize the partners who work tirelessly in every community throughout Colorado.
