Earth Day 2017 - "Environmental and Climate Literacy"

Saturday, April 22: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Beginning the day's festivities will be a "Parade of the Species". Meet at Apline Park at 8:30 am dressed as your favorite species or endangered species, and the parade will start at 9:00 am down F street into Riverside Park. From 10am - 1pm, there will be tons of fun and activities at Riverside Park.

​Booths and Events:

Urban Wildlife/Living with wildlife (kid friendly); Salida Circus featuring silk and trapeze performances; Artist, Shelby Cox, recycled material exhibit  (BRING YOUR JUNK!!!); Southern Co. Recycling of Pueblo (electronics) cash or check ONLY; Master Gardener's, water wise gardening; 4H; GARNA fire ecology; Terra Firma Forestry; Guidestone; USFS fire truck with Smokey Bear; 350 Central Colorado, slushy the Polar Bear game; TU, fly rod casting; Field day events with the Colorado Conservation Corp  (BRING YOUR INNER KID);
​Crest Academy Bird feeders; Autograph booth of the "species" from the parade, COME TO EARTH DAY DRESSED AS A SPECIES (even if you are NOT in the Parade!); FOOD Vendor​
