Family Fishing Sampler at Staunton State Park

Wednesday, June 28: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

It's summer time! Grab the family and head to the hills to learn about bait, spin, and fly-fishing for Colorado trout at Staunton State Park.

CPW staff and volunteers will provide the equipment, training, and opportunities for adults and youth to try fishing at Davis Ponds. And if you catch some fish, we will show you how to clean and cook them. Yum!

All participants 16 years of age or older will need a valid fishing license.

Space is limited, so all participants must register.

The clinic is free, however each vehicle must have a valid State Park Pass to get into the park. We will reach out to the roster the week before with more details.
