First Day Hikes

Usher in the New Year with a crisp winter hike & hot cocoa!

Pick from many different guided hikes lead by our volunteers – all ages and skill levels welcome.​

A huge turnout every year - pick from one of many guided hikes lead by our volunteers – all ages and skill levels welcome. Learn of wildlife, park history and other fascinating aspects. Then stroll into the Visitor Center and sit down by the fireplace beside friends who all share the same steadfast enjoyment of the outdoors. Dress appropriately for the weather. 

Guided hikes begin at the Limekiln Trailhead at 10am - the duration of which depends on the hike you choose, starting at 1 mile and up. All ages and skill levels welcome!​
