The Southeast T.E.N. program brings teachers and natural resource agencies together in a coordinated educational effort, creating an interdisciplinary environmental education program. All workshop activities are correlated to specific Colorado state standards to assist teachers with integration of the workshop content into classroom curricula. The 2012 courses were a huge success. This page will be updated with 2013 dates once they have been determined.

When considering a workshop, please keep in mind:

  • Most of the workshop time is in the outdoor 'classroom'. If you do not like being in the outdoors in the summer, then this class is not for you. It can be hot, muggy, buggy, cold, wet and raining—all in the same day! The T.E.N. core team makes every effort to make this class enjoyable, but we cannot control the weather!

  • Please dress for Colorado's temperamental weather conditions so you can enjoy the workshop, comfortably.

  • You will be required to do some homework and keep a daily journal.

  • Please, no kids or pets allowed in the workshops.
