The Southeast T.E.N. program brings teachers and natural resource agencies together in a coordinated educational effort, creating an interdisciplinary environmental education professional development experience for classroom and non-formal educators.

Different courses are offered in different years. Course information is available each spring. All workshop activities are aligned with Colorado Academic Standards.

When considering a workshop, please keep in mind:

  • Most of the workshop time is in the outdoor 'classroom'. If you do not like being in the outdoors in the summer, then this class is not for you. It can be hot, muggy, buggy, cold, wet and raining—all in the same day! Be prepared for the Colorado outdoors!

  • You will be required to do some homework and keep a daily journal.
  • No kids or pets are allowed in the workshops.
