Eldorado Canyon has several trails for hikers, joggers, bird watchers, photographers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. All offer spectacular views of the canyon.
The Fowler Trail is wheelchair and stroller accessible and features a self-guided nature walk. Cross-country skiers and snowshoers often travel the Fowler and Rattlesnake Gulch Trails in the winter.
The Rattlesnake Gulch Trail accommodates hikers and skilled mountain bikers. At the top of the trail are ruins of the Crags Hotel and an overlook of the Continental Divide. Please note the upper loop of Rattlesnake Gulch Trail is currently closed to protect Golden Eagles. Check the conditions page for further information.
The Eldorado Canyon Trail accommodates hikers and horseback riders though it is a very steep trail in places (especially for horses.) The Eldorado Canyon Trail connects to the Walker Ranch Loop for an extended hike. Take plenty of water along and be prepared for changeable weather conditions.
