The earliest that bookings can be made is exactly 6 months in advance of
the first day of camping. Please refer to the table below for
corresponding months. Reservations are taken on a first-come,
first-serve basis. The first call that is received 6 months in advance
will get the reservation. You may call before the Visitor Center opens
and leave a message. If the 6 months in advance happens to fall on a
weekend day, please call and leave a message. The staff member that
handles reservations is off on the weekends, so a decision will not be
made until the following Monday morning. You will receive a call back on
Monday letting you know if you got the reservation or not. Payment in
full is required to reserve any of our group facilities at Golden Gate.
Rifleman Phillips will be open from May through October, weather dependent.
