A four lane boat ramp is on the west shore of the lake. All boats must comply with current Colorado boating rules and regulations, which are available in at the entrance stations and boat ramp.
Things to know:
Boats aren’t allowed in or near the swim beaches, outlet tube area, inlet or dike fishing area.
Weather changes can have boaters rushing to get off the lake creating lines for the dock. If the weather looks like it’s going to turn, start early to dock your boat.
Shoreline Marina is located on the west side of the lake and rents fishing boats, jet-skis, ski boats, paddleboats and equipment. For questions, contact them at (970)645-BOAT or visit the Shoreline Marina website.
The lake closes to motorized boating November 1st. Boating at Jackson Lake does not resume until ALL ice is off the reservoir in spring.
Both an observer and an operator must be in any boat that is towing a skier. Ski counter-clockwise, and please spread out across the reservoir to avoid dangerous congestion.
Since Jackson Lake was built for irrigational purposes, please check conditions on the main page for up-to-date information regarding water levels, boating conditions, etc.
