Located next to Wolf Creek Ski Area. From South Fork, go 18 miles west on US Hwy. 160 to Wolf Creek Ski Area; then drive south through the ski parking area and continue 1.7 miles on USFS Rd 391.

This mountain lake is surrounded by a grassy meadow lined with a spruce-fir forest. Area is rocky and rugged.​
