4936 West CR 52E, Bellvue, Colorado 80512 From Ft. Collins, take HWY 287 North. Veer west (left) onto HWY 287-B (CR-54G) toward La Porte. Just north of LaPorte, go west on CR-52E (Rist Canyon Rd) approx. 1 mile to the hatchery.

Public access is prohibited along the west bank of the Poudre River adjacent to the employee housing.
Dogs are prohibited.

The Watson Lake Unit raises rainbow trout, rainbow/cutthroat trout hybrids, cutthroat trout, splake (a brook trout & lake trout hybrid), and brown trout. The Watson Lake Unit raises approximately 300,000 catchable trout each year. The nearby Bellvue Unit annually raises approximately 1.5 million sub-catchable trout. The Bellvue facility is only open by appointment.
