Lake is located in open, high mountain ranch land, surrounded by aspen and spruce/fir mixed forest. Reservoir is surrounded by private land. Maximum depth of lake is 97 feet with an average depth of 30 feet. Some fluctuation and draw-down occursin late summer, but usually not severe.
