When you volunteer with CPW, you can give back, get outside, meet people, and make friends. Volunteers serve in a variety of roles, such as camp hosting, education and outreach, community science, habitat and trail work, maintenance and construction, wildlife projects, customer service, and much more!
Opportunities at state parks, wildlife areas, fish hatcheries, offices, and with educational programs vary by season and by region.
4,000-6,000 volunteers engage with our agency each year - some who connect for one day, and some who engage daily.
Volunteers contribute over 320,000 hours per year with an annual economic impact of $9.4 million.
