Beginning Disc Golf

Saturday, March 06: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Learn the basics at Cheyenne Mountain's 9-hole Disc Golf Course.

Join Dave Warner, a local disc golf enthusiast, in learning the basics of disc golf and play a nine-hole round on the course. Mr. Warner will explain the purpose of the special frisbees used in disc golf, different types of grips, backhand and forehand throws and the basic rules. We’ll then play through the nine-hole course with some tips on how to get to the basket in the fewest shots possible! Find out how disc golf can be a family activity that everyone of any age can play!

Program is geared for all ages 10 and up. We will meet at the Camper Services Building in the campground and walk down to the course in the Meadow.

Safety: Due to El Paso County Public Health COVID restrictions, face masks are mandatory as wll as practicing 6-feet social distancing. Currently, space is limited to 10 participants.

Discs and bags will be provided to you for this event.

The event is free, but a valid park pass is required on every vehicle that enters the park.
