Lady Anglers of Lincoln Hills - Fly Fishing 101

Lincoln Hills, a charitable organization that strives to increase equity in accessing outdoor resources and opportunities for youth, families and communities that may experience barriers, is offering free fly fishing classes for women of color through their new "Lady Anglers" program.

​Lady Anglers of Lincoln Hills Cares (LHC), in collaboration with Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), are hosting FREE clinics for BIPOC Females (age 8+) who wish to learn fly- fishing. During their time at the majestic Lake Pactolus at 8100ft, they will also gain education and knowledge about environmental sustainability, ethical wildlife fishing te chniques, and learn about the history of Lincoln Hills.

Small groups of aspiring anglers will be led by CPW Angler Educators for a once in a life time experience while acquiring valuable skills in the outdoors!

All equipment will be provided; please bring plentiful water, snacks, sunscreen, and rain gear for inclement weather.  If you have your own fly-fishing gear, please feel free to bring it along - there will be NO wading or bait allowed.  This event is from 10 -1p, and only registered participants may attend.
