Ice Fishing 101 - Pagosa Springs
Sunday, February 19: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Colorado Parks and Wildlife is offering this ‘101’ ice fishing clinic for beginners who would like to learn about and experience the basics of ice fishing under the guidance of instructors. We’ll share safety advice, ‘how-to’s’ and other tips with plenty of time to fish.
The clinic will be held at Echo Canyon Reservoir State Wildlife Area in Pagosa Springs. All the necessary equipment will be provided for you, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. You'll want to dress in many layers of clothing to insulate and be able to adjust for changing temperatures (long underwear, shirts, jackets, hats, gloves, boots etc.). Also be sure to bring sunscreen and sunglasses.
All participants 16 and older must have a valid Colorado fishing license.
