Free Fishing Clinic at Boyd Lake State Park

Saturday, June 29: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

All ages welcome to Boyd's Fishing Clinic! Join Boyd Lake Naturalist Brady for an initial educational session (intended for kids/beginners) that will last for 30 minutes at the beginning of the clinic. The second session, right after the first session (intended for adults/ intermediate fishers) will take place while the kids are getting set up for some real fishing! We have "loaner" fishing poles and basic tackle for those who don't have any gear. Please RSVP for a spot so we can make sure we have enough tackle and gear. Anyone over 16 years old must have a fishing license. The Boyd Lake Park Office sells fishing/hunting licenses (one-day or annual fishing licenses available).

PLEASE NOTE: All motor vehicles must have a park pass to enter the park. A Daily Park Pass is $9.00 and annual park passes are $80. We accept cash, check, Visa/MC/Disc.
