New Commissioner Orientation: September 1

Members of the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission will hold a new commissioner orientation meeting on September 1, 2026, at The Hampton - Inn La Junta. The purpose of the meeting is to advise new commissioners of existing CPW policies and procedures, provide an overview of Division leadership, discuss the use of CPW’s webpage and state technology, discuss regulatory and legislative processes, and provide an overview of the open meetings law and Colorado open records act. No public comment will be accepted, and no decisions will be made.
