Tournament - Green Mountain Reservoir Pike Removal
The presence of predatory Northern Pike in Green Mountain Reservoir poses a threat to the recreational fishery in the reservoir, popular downstream trout fisheries (in some cases Gold Medal waters), and ultimately native and federally listed fish species in the lower sections of the Colorado River. CPW’s goal is to suppress the northern pike population in Green Mountain Reservoir to the greatest extent possible by incentivizing angler harvest.
