Research Librarian
Current or Recent Research Projects
Creating digital collections to archive and preserve internal CPW reports and historical documents.
Areas of Interest and Expertise
Generally
My area of expertise involves using information tools such as scholarly databases, internet searches and other electronic resources to locate materials for patrons, with a focus on locating hard to find or obscure references.
More Specifically
I watched a movie where one of the characters said something along the lines of “your career should be something you would do for free.” I would be a librarian for free if I didn't need the paycheck to help keep a roof over our heads. I love solving puzzles and that's what I get to do on a daily basis. Searching for resources and answering questions gives me a chance to dig into the old files and read through some truly interesting (and weird) historical documents.
