Wednesday, May 26: 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM
"There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls." —George Carlin
Come join us for a curious Super Moon night hike! We will be exploring the Cheyenne Mountain State Park trails (5k), where we will use our five senses to help us navigate at night.
We will learn fun facts about how our eyes adjust to darkness, how nocturnal animals survive, and learn fun facts about the moon! Dave Warner, a NASA Solar System Ambassador, will be our special guest, where he will amaze us with his Supermoon knowledge and give us a night sky tour using his laser and telescope!
Safety: Due to El Paso County Public Health COVID restrictions, face masks are mandatory and practicing 6-feet social distancing. Currently, space is limited to 10 participants.
