Star Party
Saturday, July 27: 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Join Carolyn Collins Petersen, President of Friends of the Gilpin County Community Center, at the Reverend's Ridge Campground Amphitheater at 8pm. There will be a 45 minute astronomy talk followed by star gazing. The Star Party will move to Panorama Point from 9pm-11pm for better viewing. Dress warm, bring water, star charts will be provided, and all flashlights MUST have a red filter. You may bring your own telescope, however you must supply your own power. Program is weather dependent. See you there!
