About This Event
Winter is heading to an end with the Spring Equinox around the bend. How are things changing? What are clues to discover who and what will soon be waking up from a long winter’s slumber? All are welcome even if you haven’t made it to the other programs in the series. Come prepared to be outside for part of the program! Please register by calling the Visitor Center at 719-687-2366.

Tracks & Scat Scavenger Hunt
Friday, March 14
Mueller State Park
Do you know how to tell a wild cat track from a wild dog track? What about scat? Come and learn about these differences and more. Once you know your stuff you will be sent on a scavenger hunt to find and identify some tracks for yourself. If the high is below 32 degrees this program will be inside. Meet at the Visitor Center.

The first day of Spring is approaching which means soon we will see melting snow, plants reblooming and hibernating animals waking up from a long Winter's rest. If you know a kiddo ages 6-12 who enjoys learning and exploring nature in every season, this program is for them. Guardians are asked to join their kids during this program. Meet at the Visitor Center. Register by calling the Visitor Center or via the Mueller Facebook event page.

This is a guided adventure led by Debbie, Certified Interpretive Guide and Naturalist Instructor at Pikes Peak State College. Discover the history, science and art of observing nature and recording observations. Then practice your own skills.
