About this Event
We will be exploring Cheyenne Mountain State Park's trails using our five senses to help us navigate. We will learn fun facts about how our eyes adjust to darkness, how nocturnal animals survive and the sights we see in the night sky while observing the Moon rise in the evening skies.
Please plan to meet your guide at the Limekiln Trailhead near the restroom building. Recommended for attendees ages 8 and up. Advanced registration required.
The hikes will conclude around 9:00 PM in the Lime Kiln Trailhead Parking Lot for 30 minutes of viewing celestial sights through telescopes.
