Youth Archery Program

Join park staff and volunteers as they coach youth on the finer points of archery safety and shooting a bow.

About this Event

Activities include target practice, a fun shoot, a 3-D shoot, and instruction. Youth ages 7-16 are invited to attend, but must be accompanied by a parent. Instruction on the finer points of archery safety and shooting a bow will be presented. Participants will receive individual coaching from our trained volunteers and staff. Archery is one of the world's oldest sports, and when done properly, is safe and fun.

  • Equipment will be furnished. No personal equipment allowed.

  • The program will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. in the Carpios Cove parking lot by the archery range. 

All activities are rain or shine. All vehicles are required to have a park pass.
