Archery Basics
Learn about the basics of archery including safety, stance, and aim. Use our equipment to practice your best shot.
About this Event
With our archery instructor, you will go over the 11 steps to archery success to learn how to fire a compound bow. You will receive a demonstration on how to fire the bow and then one on one instruction to increase your skill. You will have the opportunity to fire arrows with the group many times to improve your aim.
Must be able to pull bow with own power. Ages 8+

Wildlife Conservation—Additional money raised not used for state parks and outdoor safety will be used to support the State Wildlife Action Plan, which helps fund wildlife and habitat conservation work for the 960 species that CPW manages.
