Mueller's annual outdoor recreation event is back! This event is for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors at any age.

Park Ranger Lehnus and Park Ranger Ramm will be featured on Four Corners Broadcasting, which will be live at Navajo State Park.   Discounts at the Visitor Center will be offered.  Please join us to learn about this beautiful, remote park in Southwest  Colorado.  

Come by the Visitor Center and pick up a Bingo sheet and have fun! Once you have completed your Bingo sheet you can turn it in to the Visitor Center and receive a prize.

Join Upper Arkansas O.U.T. (Outdoor Understanding for Teachers), formerly known as T.E.N., for 3 ½ days exploring the Upper Arkansas watershed. The class will focus on the importance of watersheds to nature and the people in Colorado. Topics will include water & natural resources management, aquatic wildlife such as beavers and fish, soil connections, and permaculture. We will also connect nature and water to art and mindfulness. Participants will visit local sites in the Upper Arkansas Valley and be exposed to a variety of hands-on activities that apply to science, social studies, math, history, art, and language arts. The goal of O.U.T. (Outdoor Understanding for Teachers) is to help teachers promote student understanding and appreciation of science and the natural environment through local, field-oriented education opportunities in the schools and in-school curriculum.  This event is taking place at various locations including Twin Lakes, Trout Creek Pass,  Hutchinson Ranch, and Coaldale.

In this free interactive professional development workshop, K-12 teachers will explore local fish and aquatic ecosystems through practical, engaging strategies to bring back to the classroom. CPW biology and hatchery experts will be there to share insights on fish ecology, management practices, and current threats to native species to deepen science connections and place-based learning. Participants will take part in hands-on activities, receive the Aquatic WILD curriculum guide, and leave with ready-to-use resources to support teaching.

Join us at Lake Pueblo State Park for Little Naturalists: In a Grasshopper’s World. This program is designed for preschool aged children and their grown-ups.

Join us at Barr Lake's Nature Center for a story time program, including a craft, activity, and a snack! Each month will feature a different nature themed program, come and learn about our natural world in a fun and dynamic way. Spots are limited. Please only register the child.
