Cheyenne Mountain State Park

Join us for SUN-Day on a Saturday! The Colorado Springs Astronomical Society (CSASTRO) will set up special solar observing telescopes at the Limekiln Trailhead, providing a way to safely view the Sun's atmosphere. The Sun is at solar maximum and so, with the specially designed solar observing telescopes, we’re looking forward to seeing some amazing views of our dynamic star. This program is free. No advanced registration is required. All vehicles that enter the park are required to have a valid park pass.

Join the Friends of Highline Lake State Park and park staff with our regular Highway 139 Clean-Up. Caring for the first two miles off of the interstate, the Friends of Highline Lake ensures that visitors to the Loma area are greeted with a clean commute and view of the Grand Valley.
