Join us at Cherry Creek’s Campground Amphitheater for a game of Friendly Feud- Park Ranger Edition. This is a Family Feud inspired game where players try to guess the most common survey responses collected from 134 national and state park rangers. Along the way players will learn about the diverse roles park rangers play and about the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace.

Learn about the different animals that live in Cherry Creek State Park and how their adaptations allow them to survive so close to an urban environment. Explore and get a close look at real animal pelts and scientific skull replicas.

Lake Appreciation Day is a day of stewardship, environmental education, and connecting with the outdoors. It's about giving back to our reservoir by helping to keep it clean! During the morning of Lake Appreciation Day, volunteer to help pick up trash and during the afternoon celebrate with us by playing games and exploring educational booths set up by local organizations.
