We’re diving deep into Supporting Science in the Wild—all while enjoying some free food, cold brews, and awesome prizes! In this free interactive professional development workshop, K-12 teachers will explore local fish and aquatic ecosystems through practical, engaging strategies to bring back to the classroom. CPW biology and hatchery experts will be there to share insights on fish ecology, management practices, and current threats to native species to deepen science connections and place-based learning. Participants will take part in hands-on activities, receive the Aquatic WILD curriculum guide, and leave with ready-to-use resources to support teaching.
