Join The Cycle Effect in Eagle for their annual Bikes & BBQ Friendraiser! The event includes a beginner/intermediate women’s mountain bike clinic, followed by a backyard party at Moe’s BBQ, featuring music and prizes.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will host an introduction to fly fishing clinic just outside the town of Bailey, CO on May 26. Twenty adult beginners (Sixteen years and older) will spend half the day in classroom instruction, followed by hands-on application of these skills at a nearby river and ponds. Students will learn how to select the correct fly for the conditions and time of year, read the water, and improve their casting technique. The classroom sessions of the day will cover fish identification, rules and regulations, aquatic biology, fly selection, knot-tying, and general equipment setup and selection. All fly fishing equipment required for the class will be provided, however, if students have their own equipment that they would like to bring this is also acceptable but not necessary.
