About this Event

This is the ultimate beginners class with in depth, classroom style class on equipment, how to cast, and if time, fly choice. Then end with an hour or more time on the water. Don’t forget to bring a lunch! Participation in a Mueller fly fishing basics program or personal experience fly fishing is required. It is suggested that you bring your own pole to continue to hone your skills on the equipment you will use outside of the class. You must pre register for this class by calling the Visitor Center at 719-687-2366. 15 spots available. Meet at the Visitor Center.

​​A park pass is required to access the park. Passes can be purchased for $10 at the Visitor Center from 9am-4pm. Or with cash at the self-serve station by the big info sign on your right when you enter the park.​​
