Sunrise Hike at Cheyenne Mountain

About this Event
Join us for a peaceful early morning hike up Talon where we will stop at the overlook to take in the views and watch the sunrise.
Please plan to meet your guide(s) in the Limekiln parking lot by 5:30AM. Remember to bring water, sunscreen, snacks and a headlamp or flashlight. The park has some small flashlights to lend out, if needed.
Spots on this hike are limited. Advanced registration is required. Although this program is free all vehicles entering the park must have a valid park pass.

Have you attended our Level 1 and 2 beginner’s course and are ready to add more fundamental skills? If so, join our BICP certified mountain bike instructor, Ranger Rick, to learn the basics of slow riding, obstacle avoidance, and cornering.

Backcountry Safety—Your pass supports the volunteer and equipment needs of search and rescue professionals across Colorado and avalanche safety programs through the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.
Wildlife Conservation—Additional money raised not used for state parks and outdoor safety will be used to support the State Wildlife Action Plan, which helps fund wildlife and habitat conservation work for the 960 species that CPW manages.
Local Communities—Your pass supports our natural resources and helps grow outdoor accessibility and educational programs in local communities.
