The annual Christmas Tree Cut will occur on Saturday, December 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Only people who won a permit through the lottery system can cut down a tree.

The annual Christmas Tree Cut will occur on Saturday, December 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Only people who won a permit through the lottery system can cut down a tree. 

  • Only 250 permits are given out via a lottery system. 

  • The permit costs $35, and your card will only be charged if you are awarded a permit. 

  • Permits will be awarded by November 18th. 

All guests for the tree cutting or just visiting the park can stop inside the visitor center for free hot drinks and snacks, pictures with Santa and ornament decorating.
