World Wake Association National Championships

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will welcome the World Wake Association for its wakeboard national championship event August 2-3, 2025 at Highline Lake State Park.

About This Event

Note: Impacts for the park are from July 31 - August 3, but the actual event for the public is August 2-3.

PARK IMPACTS: Sunset Ridge Campground will be closed during these days with the west side of the park being open only to spectators and visitors accessing Mack Mesa Lake. 

Highline Lake boating access will be limited on Thursday and Friday, July 31 - Aug 1, 2025 as the event is set up.

Highline Lake will be closed to ALL boats on Saturday and Sunday, August 2-3, 2025. This closure includes all paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes. Mack Mesa Lake will remain open for paddlers. Lakeview Swim Beach will remain open to swimmers only during the event.

Registration: This is a closed event for participation, but is open to spectators.
