Hike to Historic Cheesman Ranch

Hike to remnants of the Cheesman Ranch built in the early 1900s and used by Wyman Mueller who helped preserve the land that is now Mueller State Park.

About this Event

Hike to remnants of the historic Cheesman Ranch built in the early 1900s. This ranch was also used by Wyman Mueller after he purchased the property after the 1940s. Mr. Mueller wanted to preserve the land and was a large part in the making of Mueller State Park.

Learn about some park history and the environment on this 4.5 mile, moderate hike.

Meet at Grouse Mountain trailhead.
