About this Event

Come join us for an adventurous Full Moon night hike! This month during our hike the Moon will be passing through Earth’s shadow (a lunar eclipse). We will be exploring Cheyenne Mountain State Park's trails where we will use our five senses to help us navigate at night. We will learn fun facts about how our eyes adjust to darkness, how nocturnal animals survive and what night sky sights we can see while observing the lunar eclipse! Please plan to meet your guide at the Limekiln Trailhead, near the restroom building. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up. Advanced registration required.
