Wildlife Viewing Hike
Hike quietly through the forest to the Osborn Homestead, used in the early 1900s. Keep an eye out for animals along the way.

About this Event
Spend National Wildlife Day on a hike through the forest and meadows in search of wildlife who call the park home like mule deer, black bear, foxes, elk, great horned owls and more. Also spend some time exploring remnants of the old Osborn Homestead used in the early 1900s.
Bring a headlamp or flashlight, binoculars and water. This is a 2 mile, moderate hike.
There are only so many spots to increase the likelihood of seeing animals so you must register online. Seeing wildlife is not guaranteed. Come prepared to enjoy a hike at dusk and any animals seen along the way are a cherry on top of the experience.
Meet at Black Bear trailhead.
