OAK CREEK, Colo. - Fill your lungs with crisp fresh air, stretch your legs on snow-packed trails and shake off the winter funk at Stagecoach State Park’s Debunk the Winter Funk Event. The family-oriented celebration of outdoor winter fun runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, February 22, at the Park’s Marina Parking Lot.

Bring your family and friends, and be ready to shake off the winter blues. From riding free, loaner fat-tire bikes, zooming down the fast sledding hill, or enjoying small talk while sitting around the bonfire, there is an activity for everyone.

Debunk the Winter Funk 2022 Activity Times:
  • Sledding Hill and Ski Bikes – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Specialized Fat Tire Bike Demos – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Ice Fishing with Guided Fishing Tours at Stagecoach Marina– 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Guided Snowshoe Hike (Pinnacle Campground) – 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Archery – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Skijoring Demos – 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 12 p.m.
  • Campfire, S’mores & Snacks – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Feel free to bring your snowshoes, sleds, and ice fishing gear, but we will have loaner gear available at the event on a first-come-first-served basis.

The event is free, but a valid $9 Daily Parks Pass or $80 Annual Pass is required to enter the park. Anyone 16 years or older is required to have a valid current fishing license.
