CPW to discuss resident hunter issues, wildlife at Northeast Region Sportspersons Caucus

 

DENVER, Colo. – Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Northeast Region will host its sportsperson caucus on August 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at South Metro Fire Rescue, 9195 Mineral Avenue, Centennial, CO 80112. Hunters and anglers who recreate in the Northeast Region are invited to discuss a variety of wildlife topics facilitated by the caucus representatives.

CPW staff will present updates and answer questions on the following expected agenda items:

  • Resident hunter issues
  • Big Game Season Structure

  • Draw Working Group

  • Wolves

  • Wolverine reintroduction

  • East Slope mountain lion plan

  • NE region turkey

  • Aquatics section updates including zebra mussel veligers discovery

  • Collard Ranch and Mt Tom State Wildlife Areas
