Colorado Parks and Wildlife investigating vehicle accident at Eleven Mile State Park boat ramp


LAKE GEORGE, Colo. – Colorado Parks and Wildlife is investigating an accident which injured a visitor at Eleven Mile State Park. Two men were launching a boat at the boat ramp on the northern side of the park Monday morning. During the launch, the driver got out of his truck and was run over by the vehicle. The 57-year-old man was transported to a local hospital by Flight For Life. The passenger was not injured.

CPW officers removed the vehicle and boat from the reservoir. The boat ramp has reopened.
