Roxborough- First Day Hike: Carpenter Peak

Enjoy the New Year with a hike up to Carpenter Peak. This is an exhilarating hike with gorgeous views!

​Start your New Year in the great outdoors on this 6.3 (roundtrip) hike on Carpenter Peak with Naturalists Paul Bleau and Dave Thomas. Its summit is the highest point at 7175 ft. and provides a spectacular 360 degree view from downtown Denver to Pike National Forest. Enjoy the view while eating lunch on the peak! Bring water, food, appropriate apparel, yaktrax or micro-spikes, and poles.

Registration required on Eventbrite. All vehicles need a pass to enter the park. Daily fee is $8. Please plan on coming early as we may go to capacity and there could be up to a 45 minute wait. Please leave your pets and bikes at home as they are not permitted in the park.
