Coming back for another year, Big Foot is heading to Roxborough State Park to help us learn how to Leave No Trace when we are outside!
Big Foot is a master when it comes to the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace. This legend leaves only footprints and has outdoor ethics down to a T! Join us to learn more through activities, displays, games, give aways and a Sasquatch Sing- A-Long! Big Foot, the official mascot of Leave No Trace, and Elbert, the big horn sheep, from Colorado Parks and Wildlife, will be on hand for fun and photos.
Roxborough State Park is the first state park in Colorado to be designated as a Gold Standard Site by The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Using the power of science, education and stewardship, Leave No Trace is on a mission to ensure a sustainable future for the outdoors and the planet.
