Become a "Nature Detective" and explore the fascinating world of insects and their habitats! This engaging program is perfect for kids eager to learn about the diverse creatures that call the park home and how they interact with their environment. Join us to discover the hidden wonders of nature and become a true insect expert.

Location: Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Entrance at the Pericles & Shavano ponds.

Ridgway State Park offers weekly outdoor education programs designed for all ages and interests. All guests are welcome to participate and discover more about the park's natural environment, wildlife, history,  outdoor recreation, and other exciting local information.
