Carpios Ridge is a great dark sky location. Join Dr. Robert Philbin, Astronomy & Physics Professor, from Trinidad State College, at the amphitheater for an evening of night sky viewing. For our viewing pleasure that evening: Mars, our moon, Saturn, the Milky Way, T. Coronae Borealis (recurrent nova, other globular and open clusters, and galaxies).
All events are free to the public. Vehicles are required to have a Colorado state park pass.
