Intro to Orienteering: Not getting lost well

Introduction to orienteering is an outdoor class that consists of a lesson and a time set to test out your newfound skills.

About this Event

The class is meant for anyone curious about compass based navigation, typically beginners. Materials for navigation will be included. Course material will include basic compass skills, interpreting maps, reading a landscape and understanding navigation terms. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please be prepared for outdoor learning, with appropriate clothing, sunscreen and water.

Audience: Ages 7+

Dogs not permitted.

Fee: Park entry fee required.

Duration: 1 - 1.5 hours.
