About this Event
Are you interested in hiking in the cold and snow, but unsure where to start? Or maybe you've hiked in the winter, but want more tips or info on local hikes.
Join this classroom presentation that will cover how to properly layer clothes, equipment and safety tips for hiking in winter. There will be a variety of equipment for you to look at and try out for yourself. This class will be inside and then head outside for those who want to test out spikes and trekking poles.
Led by an experienced local Teller County hiker. Meet at the Visitor Center.
