Silly S'mores and Stories
Gather around the glow of the campfire for a silly evening of stories and s'mores in the park. This family-friendly event is the perfect way to spend an evening connecting with nature and enjoying quality time together.
We will share goofy stories and make what we lovingly call "silly s'mores"! If you like, bring your own unconventional s'more ingredients to make your own silly s'mores!
Where: Timber Group Picnic Area
Marshmallows, Hershey's chocolate, and graham crackers are provided. Please bring any extra toppings you wish to enjoy.
This is a free program with a State Parks Pass (KCW, Annual or Daily)

Please join the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society at the Soldier Canyon Parking Lot for a night of star, galaxy, and planet viewing! This event is heavily weather-dependent and may be canceled due to clouds or rain. Please check your emails and spam folder before leaving for Lory State Park for any updates or cancellations of the event.

Summer Wildflower Hike

Lory State Park
Join us for a refreshing outdoor adventure as we explore the beauty of blooming wildflowers on a guided hike through the Well Gulch trail. Led by an expert naturalist, the hike is perfect for ages 10+ who want to learn about local flora and experience the magic of summer in full bloom! We will leave promptly from the Well Gulch trailhead at 8:30 am.
Please bring: Closed-toed hiking shoes, water, sun protection, camera (optional). This is a free event with a valid State Parks Pass (Annual, Daily, or Keep Colorado Wild Pass).
