About this Event

Archery is safe and fun! New to archery, returning after a long hiatus or simply enjoy the sport? This class is for you. All equipment and instruction is provided; no experience required. Simply come with your listening ears and a good attitude.

This class will cover archery equipment, safety, 11 steps to archery success and one on one instruction. Test your skills on a square or 3D target.

Our full size and mini Genesis bows have an adjustable draw weight between 6 to 20lbs. On average people 8 years and older are able to pull back the bow string, but this is person dependent. For anyone unable to use the Genesis bows, Nerf bows will be available off range. Guardians must supervise their kids during the program.

Some adaptable equipment is available for those who may benefit from it. For more details or questions on adaptable equipment, call 719-464-4556.

The archery range is in full sun with benches and some trees along the side for shade. You're welcome to bring your own camp chair. Bring sun protection and water. A vault toilet is located in the Dragonfly Pond parking lot.

Participants must wear close toed, sturdy shoes and have long hair tied back in a ponytail.

Meet at the Dragonfly Pond parking lot. The archery range is a short walk from the lot on uneven ground.
