About this Event

Hike and experience the colors of summer in Golden Gate Canyon State Park!

Wildflowers of all colors are popping up left and right here in our park! Join Park Naturalist Ella for this guided hike to learn more about these beautiful blooms.

This will be an approx. 2 mile hike in and out. Expect a leisurely pace with plenty of stops to use our flower ID guides to identify the flowers we see and learn more about them. Make sure to bring a camera if photography is your thing!

We will be hiking along Mule Deer Trail, which has minimal shade. Please come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, water, and any other items you might need.

A park pass is required for this event. If you do not have one, please plan to purchase one prior to the event start.
