It' a bird...it's a plane...nope definitely a bird!
What do you get when you combine birds with a good sense of humor? A birding hike with Golden Gate Canyon State Park staff member John of course!
This will be a casual 1.5 mile hike on Mule Deer Trail to spot the birds of Golden Gate Canyon State Park and learn a bit more about our feathered friends. The hike will be at a slow pace, with plenty of stops along the way as we see and hear different birds. We have a few pairs of binoculars to lend, but please bring your own if you have them!
Please bring water, snacks, weather appropriate clothing and footwear, sunscreen, bug spray, and anything else you may need to be comfortable for a morning hiking outdoors.
Meet at Ole Barn Knoll parking area.
A park pass is required for this event.
Get a $29 Keep Colorado Wild Pass with your next vehicle registration to create sweet memories. The pass gives you entry to all state parks and supports wildlife conservation.
